This piece of artwork is about the evolution of Marilyn Monroe’s image. I have pushed it a bit further by enhancing it with discrete cuts, that represent hidden surgery. I nail varnished the red lips in the way of cosmetics and applied glitter eyelids. I really like this work and have kept it for myself since 2010 in my private collection. It is framed and ready to hang. This original work is A3 print size.

Painted in lockdown, the second of three. It represents the bleakness and the fear. People were dying, would we ever be able to leave our homes, see our friends in person? Kiss, cuddle all the things. we took for granted. Those of us who lived through this will look back in time and say we lived through that.
