About

I was born in Barnet, North London; the oldest of three, on a snowy day in March. My mother was determined it would be on Good Friday. At 11.40pm, she got her wish and I entered into the world. I grew up attending school in Finchley.

Initially my ambition was to be a beauty therapist and this led to me being accepted at the London College of Fashion to study Beauty Therapy and Hairdressing for 3 years. It was suggested, much to my annoyance that this was not the career for me by the art teacher, on the course and that my destiny was to be an artist.

But that was a prophecy that I ignored and after a short stint in the beauty industry, married and had two sons.  During this time I worked in various industrial industries, from Oil and Gas to Property. But after my marriage ended I re-evaluated my life, took a leap of faith, and enrolled in the Sir John Cass School of Art. After some very interesting years I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Fine Art. In 2010 I had my first solo exhibition.

Subsequently to this I did charity work helping to raise funds for the Welsh Guards by donating a painting for auction which raised £4000 and to International Animal Rescue which raised a further £10,000.

In 2020 I exhibited at the Talented Art Fair in London.

I occasionally exhibit; but mostly, I have completed both original artworks and portraiture privately. Please feel free to contact me if you would like to exhibit or purchase my art work.
